Thank you to all at the Knightsbrook hotel for your 5* Service. During our stay we dined in both the Terrace lounge & Rococo Resturant - outstanding food & service in both. In the River Spa we enjoyed the couple's retreat & can honestly say it was the best massage we have ever had. We left feeling so relaxed & Any aches we had prior to our visit was taken away. Top tips to anyone planning a visit would be to book for afternoon tea as it is beautiful & pay the extra for a suite as these rooms are amazing! Special mention to Patrick, Leanne from the Terrace lounge & all the team at Reception for making our birthday extra special! Chloe & John
our spacious room overlooked the golf course and the landscape beyond, A room facing the houses, magnificent as they are, would be grim. The beds were comfy and the room had robes, iron, T & C, hairdryer, everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a lovely river walk starting near the hotel by the ruined Abbey, into town and back and as we got a mild Autumn day we did that rather than go to the pool. The Hill of Tara is close by and well worth a visit., Dinner was included and we ate in Rococco restaurant. The set menu was limited but the food was well cooked, if a bit plain, but tasty and 3 courses plus tea or coffee was good value, but too much food!
Stayed in knightsbrook for one night got as a present from daughters My husband played golf which he really liked Room was very big with nice balcony and very clean Hotel was very busy during our stay but once in room it was very quiet and peaceful We had dinner which was nice food good and nice choice Breakfast is also good not as much choice for continental as some other hotels very good hot choices but didn't like the urns used for tea and coffee I would expect this to be served to table only little niggle but for 4star I would expect some sort of table service at breakfast All in all good hotel with nice facilities
We recently had the best weekend of our lives in Knightsbrook Hotel for our wedding... I have to say I have stayed here on 3 occasions apart for our wedding and everything from the staff, the food and just the hotel in itself is in both of our options 100%!!!! The wedding co-ordinator Ally the manager Patrick and every single member of staff could not have done more for us on our wedding day. The food was amazing and the care they took to make sure every detail of Barbican Suite was perfect for us made me cry when I entered the room. We had a second day BBQ and we're so impressed by the room and the food and again the fantastic staff. Our guests are still taking about our wedding 4 weeks later. We will definitely be returning as guests as often as we can to Knightsbrook as there is not one single thing I could fault it on... we are forever grateful to all the staff who done there upmost to ensure we had the best day and there was not one fault in the whole day. I would highly recommend this hotel in our opinion it deserves 5 stars!!!!
