Laughlines Brings TED & CO Dinner Show

Laughlines Comedy Entertainment brings the Ted & Co hit feature, ‘The Dinner Show’ to the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim. This smash hit comedy treat is now touring Ireland for the very first time, and promises to impress audiences with energetic improvisation, audience involvement and impeccable comic timing. The show pays homage to Father Ted, the Irish television sitcom cult classic. It first debuted at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it sold out every show, picked up five star reviews and received standing ovations.

The priests are heading east from Craggy Island to serve up another comedy treat this September. Mrs. Doyle (the housekeeper) is never far away with her precious teapot, and sees it as her sole purpose in life to supply the priests and guests with copious amounts of tea. Performed flawlessly, the much-admired cast combines satire, surrealism and a great dose of old fashioned comedy to bring the tribute show to life. It’s highly interactive and a delicious three course meal is included. This two hour show promises to provide a hilarious and fun evening, with the audience as the diners and Ted, Dougal, Jack and Mrs. Doyle as the hosts. It simply should not to be missed!
