“Fantastic Wedding Venue”
Reviewed 21 May 2013
We had our wedding at the Knightsbrook Hotel & Golf Resort on 21st December 2012. It was fantastic and everything we could have dreamed for and more.. We organised our wedding from Australia and the help we got from the Events Manager Sinead was just brilliant which made organising our wedding from 10,000 miles away much easier. Sinead was on hand to give advice on anything we needed and also recommended our Band & Photographer which were also excellent and made for a memorable day/night. All I had to do was pick up the phone or send her an email or a text and she responded straight away. The Food, bedrooms, bridal suite, service & layout of the function room for our wedding was just stunning and everything ran smoothly. All of our guests were complimenting the hotel and how well everything went. Staff was fantastic. I would highly recommend Knightsbrook as a wedding venue. Marie & Mark

I got married in February 2013. Choosing a venue was top of my priority list and the one thing that I was the most nervous about!!
Knightsbrook was the 1st and only hotel that we looked at. Having been there just once, we knew it was the perfect choice...
From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how beautiful the reception was, and how friendly the girls behind the desk were!
We met with Sinead (wedding co-ordinator) who showed us around, and from that moment we knew we would celebrate our wedding there. We were hooked!!
Not only is the hotel beautiful, it's kept immaculately clean, the restaurant/bar food is exquisite, the rooms are luxurious and very comfortable, and as mentioned earlier, the staff are very friendly, polite, efficient, professional, dedicated and in general, just a pleasure to meet.
As someone who travels for a living, I stay in hotels in Ireland and abroad at least once a week, and I'v learned to expect at least some degree of disappointment from even the most highly recommended hotels in the world...
However, I can say, with hand on heart that Knightsbrook is now my number one choice of restaurant, and hotel and it will take some beating to knock it off the top spot!! And not just because it was an amazing hotel on the most special day of any couples life, but because its an amazing hotel every other time we've been there. Can not recommend this place enough...
I wish I lived closer to trim!! :)

Hi Vincent (father of the bride) here. A few lines to let you know how much we enjoyed the few days in your hotel. From the moment we arrived you and your team were excellent. Even before we arrived you were looking after the guests. The wedding ceremony, the set up of the room, the quiet discreet attendance of the staff were all brilliant. The feed back from all was amazing.
Then the reception, once again the professionalism of your staff is to be commended. Caroline, the lady i/c and Emma who served the top table were great. I mentionned them in my speech because Emma really served with a smile as she did the next day at the barbeque. Any of the guests who stayed at the Knightsbrook in either a room or a house were very pleased and complimentary. The dramatic serving of the main course to the top table drew many admiring remarks, we had in our company chefs, pastry chefs and hoteliers. as you would be aware they are hard to please. You and your team pleased them with every angle covered.
As you can appreciate our concern was for our daughter, would she be happy and remember her special day. yes is the answer and both she and her husband and both families would recommend the Knightsbrook without hesitation.
Once again thank you and please thank Caroline, Emma (with the beautiful smile), Louis who first sold us on the hotel and all of the staff associated with the wedding. Your liasion with Jennifer and Peter leading up to the dayand your attention on the day was terrific. I do hope that the hotel management know what a gem they have in you.

Our guests are still calling us to rave about everything from the food to the decor of the banqueting room and hotel in general to their bedrooms. The staff was amazing, so polite and helpful to our guests. I cannot thank the events Team Sinéad and Niamh, the lovely Caroline and Kate on reception enough for their utter professionalism and expertise ensuring myself, my husband and our guests wanted for nothing during our stay, and also Patrick for such a warm welcome. Our guests also availed of the use of the leisure facilities on the day after and were delighted with the value for money they received knowing this was all included in the price of their stay. Others used the opportunity of the next day to sample the golfing and spa facilities. Some of our guests also used the courtyard homes and could not believe the comfort and luxury they found within their 'home'. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for an event or mini break and would encourage you to sample the hospitality for yourselves.

My husband and I were lucky enough to get married here in February 2013. From the second we looked at the hotel, we fell in love. Sinead was so professional with our requests and budget. She was always on hand to help or discuss any issues we had. The day was perfect, the second we pulled up outside, management and staff took over.
The room was amazing, I broke down when I saw how beautiful the room was and how the staff had given me my dream day. The food was out of this world and all my guests agreed. The salad, soup, beef and Seabass were to die for.
The bridal suite is amazing, a two storey room with beautiful views! We stayed for two nights and the food the second night was beautiful also. All our guests commented on the quality of the food for dinner and breakfast and the reasonable rate for their rooms. They were delighted with their rooms also.
We simply cannot fault this location. We have stayed on two occasions and visited the spa also and I enjoyed each stay immensely. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel as a wedding venue or for a break away.

“The WOW factor!!”
Reviewed 23 February 2013
This review is long overdue!! We held our wedding reception in Knightsbrook Hotel & Golf Resort in May 2012 and while we understood immediately how much the hotel had delivered the WOW factor – it is only more recently after attending 3 other weddings in quick succession at different venues that we really appreciate how far out all the stops were pulled by Patrick & the staff to make our day so special.
From the 1st time we viewed the hotel to consider it as a venue and met Sinead, the wedding manager – we were hooked immediately. Such was the level of professionalism that she showed us that day, we were so confident in the venue that we cancelled the 2 appointments for the following day to view other locations and booked it on the spot. Every contact prior to the wedding extended our confidence in the fact that we really had found somewhere special to celebrate our big day. The level of confidence she gave us in both her abilities and the hotels meant that we virtually went with all her recommendations and are totally happy that this was the right decision. To personalise the day a little further we were also able to discuss variations of the menu options with the head chef, John.
The day itself was flawless with all our guests giving the venue, the atmosphere, the food & the rooms rave reviews. All the staff made us feel at home, at ease and comfortable throughout the day. Their overall professionalism was 1st evident from the fact that the general manager Patrick, as well as Sinead and the 2 banqueting managers – Caroline & Mark greeted us at the front door upon our arrival. For them to serve over 260 top-class meals in as efficient manner as they did that day says something about the quality of staff!!
While it was a late night (!!!), the following day saw ourselves and many of our guests enjoy the golf course and the spa – both of which were top class – before adjourning to the golf club for a BBQ reception. Again, in one word – faultless!!!!
We simply could not recommend the Knightsbrook highly enough for any event or occasion – but as a wedding venue it is spectacular. All the staff even look happy to be there and are always ready to assist – something that can be quite rare nowadays.
To Patrick, Sinead, Mark, Caroline, John & every member of staff for creating & delivering a huge WOW factor to us and all our guests – THANK YOU.

My boyfriend plays golf here and suggested we had a look at the hotel. From the minute we entered the hotel it looked and felt fabulous, they had a package that we liked and they amended it to suit our requests. The day before we brought all our bags to the hotel, they had the tables laid out and let me set up my own candy table, this was a huge help as I was delighted with the lay out of the room and any changes they were happy to oblige. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect, I could not fault the hotel! The service was excellent, all staff from the cleaners on the corridor to the general manager were so friendly and approachable. The staff made sure that the day was perfect and there attention to details was outstanding. I can't thank them enough for making all my dreams come true. All the guests were so happy with there rooms and the great price package you provided, also the food was complimented by all the Guests. What I loved the most after serving dinner the staff offered second servings of both the sea base and beef so the guests could have both if they wished ( and some did)!! The food in the restaurant and bar is the best we've ever had ( and we are both fussy about food as we like to eat out a lot). The day after the wedding 25 guests played golf and some other guests had afternoon tea in a private room where we had tea, sandwiches and wedding cake. It was absolutely perfect. The following day we enjoyed the spa where i totally relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed my massage, so much I went back for a second one the following day. I need to say a special thank you to mark, he took care of us for the day before our wedding, the day of and the day after. His attention to details was remarkable, he was present anytime we needed him, he was professional, friendly and made me and my husband feel like the most important people in the world that day. We will be forever grateful to knightsbrook hotel and the staff for making all our dreams come true. I just had my wedding at the Knightsbrook Hotel last week and I must say it was the most amazing, fantastic experience!!!! The hotel was fabulous in every way. Everybody we spoke to after were ranting and raving about how wonderful the venue was.
The experience you will get is a combination of luxury, comfort and sophisticated charm. The amenities such as the spa, leisure facilities and golf course are superb. Even our kids fell in love with the kids club.... The golf course surrounding the hotel gives it the picture perfect setting and when you walk into the lobby, the chandeliers and amazing stair case make you feel that this is a special venue. The rooms in the hotel and in the holiday homes were very spacious and spotlessly clean and all with modern facilities.
We got so many comments from people saying that the food they had was beautiful not just for the wedding but also in Rococo’s restaurant and also in the Terrace Bar.
You can tell that the staff are so proud of where they work. What really strikes you is the professionalism, attention to detail and the care and precision of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It’s the small things that matter and Caroline, Niamh, Patrick, Kate, Emma and the remainder of the Knightsbrook staff were absolutely instrumental in making our wedding day one of the most important of our lives.
What can we say about Sinead the wedding co-ordinator? Right from the first time we met her and felt her enthusiasm, we knew we wanted to work with her. I must say that this is indicative of all of the staff we had the pleasure of meeting over our 3 day stay. Sinead’s professionalism, her thoroughness and vendor recommendations, her attention to detail and most importantly how she made us feel like we were the most important couple in the world will stay with us forever. Thank you...
The Knightsbrook Hotel is an amazing venue for all occasions. This is a very highly rated 4 star hotel with 5 star trappings thrown in for good measure. I think a lot of our guests will be back to again experience all the Knightsbrook has to offer. We just can’t wait to get back there ourselves...

My wedding took place in Knightsbrook at the beginning of June and I cannot say enough about this fantastic resort. Having previously worked in the hospitality industry, I have stayed in a lot of the well known four and five star properties in Ireland, but none of them come close to my experiences in Knightsbrook.
In the two years leading up to our wedding we have been in the hotel on numerous occasions and have eaten in the restaurant and bar, stayed over night and have gotten treatments in the Spa. Each and every time the service has been excellent in all departments. The food is absolutely gorgeous (definitely a step ahead of any of the four star hotels in the area), the service is excellent and the place is spotlessly clean.
Sinead was fantastic to deal with in the lead up to the wedding day and looked after our every request; nothing was a problem. She greeted us when we arrived at the hotel which was brilliant considering we had been planning the day with her all along.
The day itself could not have gone any better and our guests are still talking about it. On arrival to the pre dinner drinks reception, Oliver and his team gave everyone such a warm welcome into the bar and the service was second to none, which so many of our guests commented on. They also said that room was so comfortable, it was great that they could sit and relax with friends and family rather than standing around.
The food was honestly the best I have ever experienced at a wedding. I could not believe that food to a restaurant standard, could be served for a function of 200 people. We are still hearing about 'the feed' that everyone got! Each course was absolutely top class and the dessert was to die for. I have to say that the food, not just for our wedding but in each outlet, is a complete credit to the head chef and his team.
The food and beverage manager, Caroline, was such a help to us the night before our wedding and also on the day. Everything was set up exactly how we asked and she and her team provided service on the day that you wouldn't find in some five star hotels.
I can't thank Patrick and his team enough for helping to make sure that we had the best day of our lives so far. I would without hesitation, highly recommend this resort for every type of occasion.

Not only was she welcoming and friendly on the day of our initial visit, she was a great help throughout the planning process. The wedding itself went off without a hitch, it all went so smooth. The service from all staff was honestly like nothing I have ever seen before. Not only was I and my husband impressed but our guests commented on this throughout the few days of the wedding celebrations. The food was something in particular that the guests were also very complimentary about. The rooms were gorgeous and it is great to have the guest houses as an option for groups of people to share, it really is a great money saver for people.
We had a bbq the next evening and I am so glad we decided to do this. It was great to have something to look forward to the next night. The staff and service on the night of the bbq was equally as attentive as the wedding night.

All the staff of the hotel contributed enormously to making our wedding such a memorable event. Big Thank You to you all!!
The hotel itself is top notch. Our guests were universally impressed; they couldn't get over how fantastic a venue it is. The rooms are incredible and the on-site facilities fantastic. They also have chalets on site that can accommodate up to nine adults. A lot of our invited guests rented out these and to a man were incredibly impressed. Not being a golf fan meant I didn't get to go for a round with the lads the day after. They, despite the sore heads, assured me it was one of the best courses they'd ever played on.
That evening we had a family meal in the Rococo Restaurant. A wonderful occasion and excellent food. The breakfasts too are fantastic.
The town of Trim is also lovely with a beautiful Norman Castle bang in the centre; well worth a visit. Great location too for those wedding fotos!!
I could wax lyrical all day about our stay in Knightsbrook and how well we were looked after! I'm certainly looking forward to going back and renewing acquintences with all the staff that made our wedding weekend such a memorable event.
Thank you Knightsbrook!

I attended a wedding here recently and was so impressed with every aspect of the hotel and the overall event management of the celebration. I organise quite a few events for work so my standards are high! The Knightsbrook definitely offers that 5 star experience to both guests and the bride and groom.
It's such an important occasion for any couple and they want their guests to have a memorable and special day. One that will be talked about afterwards - for the right reasons!
The 200+ guests at this wedding had a truly fabulous day.
From the moment of arrival at the hotel, we were treated to wonderful service, smiling and professional staff with an attitude of "how can we help you?" which is too often rare these days.
Check in was efficient and the reception staff were helpful and charming. The bedroom was lovely, spacious and with lovely views over the beautiful grounds.
The wedding itself was really very special. The room looked wonderful with all the right ingredients to create the "wow" factor. There were lots of staff circulating to help people find their tables and the meal was excellent. I couldn't fault it. Beautifully presented, efficiently served and really tasty. I had the sole option for main course and it was cooked to perfection.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any couple looking for a venue for their special day or to anyone considering a holiday or mini-break. We had lunch in the Terrace bar before we left the day after the wedding and that was also lovely.
Well done to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

I had my wedding recently in the Knightsbrook Hotel and I would like to thank the management and staff for making our wedding so enjoyable. The whole experience was fantastic from
start to finish, from our first meeting with Sinead right through to when we checked out after the
wedding excitement had died down. I really can't complement the staff enough, Sinead was an absolute treasure during the whole process, she always came back to us promptly with
any queries we had and she made us feel like we were very special with the
way she dealt with us always making us feel like we were the most important
booking to your hotel, she has a fantastic way about her and extremely
professional in all ways and excellent at her job. Caroline the banquetting
manager was brilliant on the night also. The General Manager Patrick gave us a lovely introduction for the meal. Every member of staff that we came
across in all our dealings with the hotel have been polite, curteous,
helpful and professional. The food on the day was second to none, I have
never had such beautiful food at a wedding and so much of it. Our guests
are still raving about the meal (excellent quality and quantity), the
cleanliness of the hotel, the beautiful rooms and the amazing leisure and
spa facilities. We were so impressed with the Knightsbrook Hotel and staff we would have no
hesitation in recommending it as a venue for weddings, functions, dinner
out, weekend away, afternoon pampering etc the list is endless.

I had 200 guests with me on the day and they were all very pleased with the service they got not one person complained I would highly recommend the hotel for your special day !
I only wish I could do it all again because I had such a ball on the day and I'd like to thank Sinead and Caroline again for everything you both were so good
“High quality customer service...”
Reviewed 5 April 2012
Attended a wedding here last week and thankfully got the last of the good weather; hotel is beautifully decorated, spacious and staff are nothing short of outstanding in their customer service: nothing was too much trouble and every single member of staff I encountered made it their business to ensure I felt welcome, at ease and made themselves available for any queries/concerns or just simply to say hello.
Rooms are really comfortable; the only downside was that there was no seating/benches on the balcony to the room but nothing that would deter me from staying again.
The food is excellent and there's a lovely ambience to the place; the fact that the function rooms are off the main building ensures that you'll have no issues with noise when you hit the pillow and if you're attending a function here, you'll thoroughly enjoy it.
Quick note: if you're hoping to get out onto the golf course, ensure you've the correct footwear and clothing as I was informed by other guests from the wedding that they're pretty strict in that regard!
I'm considering this hotel for my own wedding next year and I can safely state that the staff are the reason for it, management should be proud of them.
“Great Time”

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this great hotel/resort. I attending a wedding here and the attention to detail was spectacular...the food was the best meal i have ever had at a wedding. The staff were all top notch and always available...Hats off to the GM Patrick, Mark, Audrey and Sinead for their fine work. I highly recommed this location for weddings and other events big or small. I also had a chance to check out the golf course, the River Spa and it'sclos proximity to the Trim Castle made for easy trips into town for sightseeing.
Our wedding was the 9th of July 2011 and we had it booked since Febuary 2009 and right from the first enquiry we knew Knightsbrook was the right choice for us. We had regular contact with Sinead who was always available to speak to us about any queries we had even if we just popped in unannounced. Sinead made all our planning with the hotel extremely easy no stone was left unturned. We cannot recommend her enough she knows her job extremely well and will do anything she can to provide the day of your dreams. All the staff behind the scenes are fabulous at what they do we had the most magical day of our lives everything went the way we wanted it to and nothing that we asked for was to big or to small. We are still receiving calls about how wonderful the day was and how amazing the food was (and hot). Our advice is "if you want the most magical day of your life then have it in Knightsbrook Hotel, you will not be disappointed!!!

"Knightsbrook created the wow factor for us"
We got married in Knightsbrook hotel on 7th July. Sinead and her team really created the wow factor for us from the civil ceremony right throughout the whole day. We really had a totally stress free experience! We would really like to thank Sinead and her team (Niamh and Caroline) for creating this special day for us. All our guests were so impressed by the venue, the banqueting hall looked amazing. The food was fantastic! We would recommend Knightsbrook as a wedding venue as you will receive top class service and great food. All the staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Thanks to the girls on reception and the porters for all their help. They all really made our day so special.

"Excellent Wedding Venue"
We recently had our wedding at Knightsbrook Hotel. Having dealt with the hotel for over a year I can honestly say that the staff are the most professional, friendly and hard working people I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. The hotel itself is beautiful. All our guests commented on the quality of the food and how seemless our day was. I would recommend this hotel to any couple looking for a stress free day in lovely surroundings.

Hi Patrick,
Just a quick mail to thank you for the level of service you & your staff provided to John and myself in the build up and our wedding weekend.
Every single member of staff were professional, friendly & extremely helpful to us and our guests. Sinead is amazing, warm & a true asset to your hotel. Aoife, Mark, Niamh & Louis treated us like old friends all while ensuring the reputation & service level at Knightsbrook were not compromised. Our guests raved about the food quality, hotel presentation & cleanness. We made the perfect choice for our wedding venue. Knightsbrook is a beautiful place but it's made perfect by the staff you employ. We will have amazing memories of Knightsbrook forever & be eternally grateful to yourself and your staff.

"My wedding in Knightsbrook Hotel"
I had my wedding here Monday and all I can say is amazing. The hotel was truly fantastic. They arranged a room for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in. They rang up when any of the suppliers arrived to let me know they were on the way up to the room. The ceremony room was magical -chair covers, lanterns, red carpet and flowers ( I don't currently have any photos as it was only on Monday 20th June but I will upload). After the ceremony our guests were escorted to a private bar while we got our photos taken. Our guests were treated to a champagne reception. The meal call was at 5.30 with the food served promptly at 6 o clock. Delicious hot food for everyone - it was fantastic. I really can't say enough about how great the hotel was. Our rooms were huge and spacious particularly liked the double Jacuzzi in our room and the amazing views of the grounds.
It wasn't just the rooms and the hotel that were fantastic , a huge thanks to all at the Knightsbrook staff for making my wedding day, the day of my dreams. A particular mention to Sinead A Coll thank you so much.
Looking forward to heading back down for my anniversary next year. Any potential brides make sure and check this hotel out.

"Absolutely Amazing stay, service fantastic and staff so friendly."
Well we can only describe the hotel an Amazing! We recently had our wedding at The Knightsbrook Hotel and stayed on for a second night with 32 friends. Everybody agreed that the location of the hotel, and the facilities are fabulous. We obviuosly stayed in the bridal suite, which was stunning but had a look at some of our friends rooms. These too were fab and the cleanliness was of a very high standard. Having spent alot of time at the hotel in the lead up to our big day, we ate on numerous occasions. The food is of a very high quality and the spread that is put on for breakfast is fantastiC. You have a huge range of choice, from the typical irish fry up to something more simple such as cereal or crossaints. They even serve waffles! :) The hotel has a magnificent golf course and great lesuire facilities also. The pool was lovely too.
Although we did not need to avail of the facilities, the hotel also have a great programme of activities and entertainment for children, especially during midterms.
And finally the staff at the hotel are so helpful, friendly and can not do enough for you to ensure your stay is a pleasent one.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of taking a trip to Trim, as the little town is only a short walk away and has stunning views from Trim Castle.

"Our Daughters Wedding"
We picked this venue together with the bride and groom because we got such a warm welcome on our first visit.
We had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Sinead who though very professional, rapidly became a friend to us and that made it very easy to pick up the phone if there was something we needed sorted and nothing , I mean nothing was too much bother .We could not find fault with anything. All the staff were there for us whenever we needed anything.
The food was so good that all our guests commented on it.
Really all I am trying to say is , If you are a future bride, groom , Mum or dad who is footing the bill this is the first and only place you should look if you want your daughter to have an amazing day.
Thank you Sinead and all the staff of the Knightsbrook for making our daughters wedding exactly the way she wanted it.
Thank you,

Dear Sinead & Patrick
It is almost 2 months since our wedding on the 14th of January and what an experience. I have been meaning to send this email to you both for a long time and apologies for the delay in sending this through.
I want to start by saying thank you for the most amazing day of our lives. Your hotel, the staff, the food, the service was fantastic and absolutely everything I wanted.
I want to also let you know Patrick if it was not for Sinead, her professionalism and her flexibility I would not have had my wedding in your hotel, deposit paid or not. I was not happy with the service and attitude of the Wedding Coordinator before Sinead. Sinead for me is the height of professionalism and is an absolute credit to your hotel.
We had the time of our lives on the 14th of January, it will always be one of those memories for us both that will be unblemished and remembered for ever for us both.
Sinead listened to everything that I wanted to achieve from that day and when I walked into that room before my guests arrived I was in awe at everything. She had heard what I had to say and had made it happen. I am an Executive Assistant by trade so precision, professionalism and having it right is what I have to do every day. So Sinead did this for us and made it happen and for that we have to say thank you so much.
We have had nothing but compliments from our guests on the hotel, their room, the food and most of all the staff.
We have nothing but great feedback and compliments for your hotel to anyone who asks or will listen. The amount of our guests who have said they will definitely be back to your hotel is amazing.
I have also voted for you as the best wedding venue in Leinster, so I really hope you won this as you without doubt deserve it.
And finally you have given us the best start we could every have imagined to our married life, memories, and for this we both say thank you.
And we will definitely be back to visit this year some time.
Kind regards

Dear Sinead & All Staff / Management at Knightsbrook Hotel,
Myself and my now husband got married 12th March and had our reception at your hotel - Knightsbrook!
We just wanted to say a sincere thank you to everyone at the hotel for all of the help and support we recieved over the past year. We dealt with all members of the wedding team and found them all wonderful ! Nothing was too much hassle and we were made to feel very special!
Sinead, you were so accommodating to us. I really enjoyed dealing with you & the great chats we had :-) I'm looking forward to our next catch up!
Please pass on our thanks to Caroline and her banquetting team. The whole reception ran perfectly and we were overwhelmed with very positive comments from our guests regarding the staff and service, not to mention the food - which was top notch !
Your hotel is stunning! We havent yet got our professional photo's back yet but I will pop you through a pic when I get them.
We had time to take our little girl to the pool and I treated myself to a full body massage. How amazing after the hectic few days we'd had.
I sound like Im gushing now so I'll wrap it up.
Please feel free to pass this on to potential future wedding couples or use it as a referral etc. I would be more than happy to recommend Knightsbrook Hotel & more importantly, the TEAM!
Cheers you guys.

Hi Sinead,
Just a quite note to say thanks for everything that yourself and the team did for us in lead up and on the day of 22nd January, 2011. We had an amazing day and everything ran seemlessly and it was all down to you guys! A special thanks to Caroline for all her help - everyone has commented on the quality of the food and
One final favour - could you post us a copy of our table plan and the wedding menu? There was none left the next day and we wanted to hold onto them for sentimental reasons!
Thanks again
Caroline & Andrew 22.01.11
Dear Sinead, Emer, Niamh, Caroline, and to all the staff at the Knightsbrook,
Myself and David just wanted to thank you so much for our day on Saturday. I don't think a wedding has ever gone so smoothly! Every single one of our guests thought the hotel was fantastic, the meal was delicious, and that the staff went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. I just want to re-iterate that, and to tell you that it was an absolute pleasure to use your hotel for our celebrations. Sinead, you were so accomodating all the way through, and particularly the morning of the wedding, when we lost some of our guests due to the snow, you still made things so easy for us. Needless to say, we will be recommending the hotel to all of our friends who have upcoming nuptuals. It is rare that you hear of a hotel with 100% positivity but we have been planning this wedding for two years and in al that time, we'd heard from so many people who had experienced the Knightsbrook, and not one person had a bad word to say about it-everything was glowing. In fact one of our guests who got stuck in the snow mentioned how much she was looking forward to seeing the hotel as she'd heard so many good things about it!
We were unable to take our second night in the honeymoon suite due to the snow (which turned out to be a very wise decision in the end-we had a lovely morning in dublin airport yesterday with delays & the likes) but we spoke to one of the staff on sunday who said that we can use the second night whenever we are back in the future (availibily permitting) so we would love to try that over the next couple of months.
Once again-Thank You so much.
Regards,
Katy & David. ~ Nov 2010
Hi Sinead,
Just a quick note from myself and Paul to thank Niamh, Caroline, yourself and all the staff in Knightsbrook for helping us having a fantastic wedding day. Everything just exceeded our expectations.
We're in the Dominican Republic at the minute having a ball.... Again thanks a million for a wonderful day.
KInd regards,
Ann Marie & Paul ~ Nov 2010
Hi Niamh/Caroline,
Once again myself and Paul would like to thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for the most amazing and joyful day of our lives.I am still in awe at my wedding day and how well everything went and if i had to do it all over again i would (with both of your help of course).
All my family and freinds are still talking about it which is great and there are plenty of photos on my facebook page if you want to have a look.
We went on honeymoon on the Monday and it was fab, it just topped a wonderful 2 days we spent with you.
People asked did i cry on the day and i didnt ,i wasnt nervous at all, but when i seen the ceremony room and the reception room it blew me away and i got very choked up.
Anyway back to work now and i hope to see you both soon, no doubt we will be back for a weekend away or just drop in for a coffee.
Kindest Regards
Donna & Paul x ~ May 2010
Dear Caroline,
I just wanted to write a few words of appreciation to all those at the hotel who assisted with the recent kosher function (wedding) , from management down. Your help was greatly appreciated and the compliance of John and Shane in the kitchen was tremendous.
I understand that getting to grips with catering a kosher function for the first time can be quite a feat, but we were delighted that everything ran so smoothly - again thanks to yourself and all the staff who participated.
The feedback from the evening was great and you can pass on to the chefs that everyone loved the food.
I don't have an email for Patrick, could you copy this to him?
Many thanks for all your help,
regards

Stayed in Knightsbrook in 2010 with golf group and loved it and highly recommended it t our friends.Have just returned from an overnight there with my sis and husband to be and they have booked their wedding reception there. Everything about this hotel speaks luxury efficency and comfort. The staff are the most professional and helpful we have come across particularly Aoife on reception who took time to help me with our booking for next year. Also my sister found Sinead the best wedding planner she had met, and of course Paul who gave us a 'guided tour' of the self catering houses. Food in both bar and dining room was excellent. We stayed in room 202 which was beautiful with a balcony and fab view of the golf course. My sis and her partner were upgraded to a junior suite definately a luxury not to be missed. Breakfast also was first class and although the dining room was extremley busy the staff kept everything replenished and fresh. We hope to return to Knightsbrook very soon. Adrienne Conway
Room Tip: We stayed in room 202 overlooking golf course def a great choice.
