The Knightsbrook Hotel Spa and Golf Resort has reached a historic milestone after hosting its 500th wedding.

The venue was also recently voted as Leinster's Best Wedding Venue, and the wedding of Rosanna Devine and David Walsh from Athlone provided the perfect platform to celebrate this.

Sinéad Coll, Wedding and Events Manager at Knightsbrook, said that they were "delighted" to host Rosanna and David's wedding, and it was made even more special because of it being their 500th event.

"We are always honored to be selected to host what is perhaps one of the most important days in a person's life. The couple naturally want it to be a perfect celebration with their friends and families but it can sometimes be a stressful time for people, many of whom will never have organized an event before," she added.

"We therefore appoint a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to each couple and that person is on-hand from the time the booking is made to answer queries, give advice and simply provide a calm ear."
